When I was courting the Mrs, she asked me what my favorite cake was? I told her German Chocolate Cake made from scratch. She went to here mom to ask about it. Her mom told her, “Do you have any idea how much work that is? He better be worth it.” Cake sure was good.
My roommates 4 yr old son was like that. I paid for all the ingredients, gave them more than their share of my food, they helped themselves to my food. I paid rent, shared my room with one of their kids who believed it was hers and acted out, but I wasn’t allowed to eat a piece of their birthday cake! Once I put butter mixed with brown sugar on a piece of toast for a snack. The 4 yr old climbed up on my lap and stuck his tongue in my mouth to “see what it tasted like” as the rest of them stood looking at me with intense curiosity.

I have to hide from my budgie. He sees my mouth moving and he knows I’m eating something, even if its gum (which makes him mad since he can’t eat it)

My husband readily shares his snacks with our parrot, who tastes it and tosses it on the floor. YUCK! LOL. (but, NOT chocolate – poisonous to birds)

I’m surprised he can get into that position! He’ll have to roll out of that closet into the Referee Position!

She’s not your mother Ben. You can eat what you want, when you want, where you want.
