A friend of mine learned pi to 100 places when we were in high school. This was around 1960 so he had to find it in a book. He used the tune to “TwinkleTwinkle Little Star” to help memorize it. Once he did he sang it all the time to annoy whoever was near him. I absorbed it this far from being slow to tell him to shut up: 3.141592653589

The only “pi” that interests Sal is the kind made by Sara Lee. (After all, you can’t spell “Sara Lee” without the letters S, A, and L.)

As an engineer, we never worried about pi to more than two places. There’s enough error inherent in all the other calcs it uses.
