It is not a delay, but and intermission. OK, so it is taken early but it still is an intermission.

A children’s song, have you listened as they play.

Their song is love, and the children know the way.

An end to war! I can think of several places that could use Meemaw’s hot chocolate.

    Dad’s famous Hot Chocolate Recipe:

Add to grocery list and buy:

single-serving cocoa powder packets, 1 per cup to be made

    Bottle of real vanilla extract

Whole cow’s milk (unless you are allergic – if so, substitute almond mil

One 32-oz bottle of Hershey’s chocolate syrup or equiv

    ! pkg of mini-marshmallows

If you don’t have a 12-oz tea mug, get one

Make (prep time about 10 minutes):

Pour 3 oz chocolate syrup in the mug.

Add 2 tblsp vanilla and stir.

Add 1 pkt of cocoa powder.

Add 2 tblsp milk. Stir until all milk and powder is mixed.

Fill the mug with milk to within 1/2 in of rim. Stir until all milk is even-color brown.

Heat in the microwave on medium setting for 2 minutes. Watch and shut off if the mixture starts to boil. Stir.

Heat again for 1 minute on medium. Do not allow to boil. Stir,

Add desired amount of mini-marshmallows, and enjoy.

Personally, I very much prefer hot chocolate to coffee.
