First panel, I heard the voice of Nanny from the 101 Dalmatians movie (1961).

Panel 1 is interesting because it implies that April has been to Connie’s house without her mother or even her usual guardian Farley. On the upside, it appears April is capable of dressing herself, putting on a coat and opening the door to go to the neighbour’s house. She is growing so fast. She is lucky that her unattended wandering has not gotten her into some real trouble.

Panel 2 is scary as Connie is waking up poor Sera with her ice-cold hand. Brrr! Let the poor dog rest. She had a rough night.

Panel 3 perspective compared to April’s giant head is making those puppies look more like the size of mouse babies than dog babies. If I saw puppies that small, I would be asking why they are so teeny-tiny too.

Panel 4 – A joke that Elly and Connie will not want to explain to April.

So because a certain contingent of people might know a thing, some people it is ok to post details on a very self-aggrandizing manner. Just because a lot of people know Vader was Luke’s father, some people don’t or didn’t. Worse was when it was a new movie, a ‘friend’ TOLD ME THAT before I saw it. I could have killed him in the moment.

Today, she speaks rather clearly for someone who can’t say “Elizabeth”. About time.

Coloring mistake—Connie’s hand is dead white when she’s touching Mama Dog.

And Jasper and Horace are here to inspect the wiring.

MAD Magazine did that same joke about “Famous Babies” such as a doctor chasing after a flying baby then saying to the man in the waiting room: “Congratulations Mr. Kent, it is a girl!”. Or this one

    Intercom buzzes

Doctor{over intercom}: “Nurse, I am expecting a girl who was abducted by King Kong several months ago.”

Nurse: “How will I know who to look for?”

Doctor: “Trust me, you will know.”

Nurse looks in horror at a woman with a gigantic belly

They’re Canadian, how come April calls her mother “Mom” and not “Mum”? Growing up it was Mum, or Maman in Francophone families.
