Poor Thanksgiving. Gets passed over for Christmas once Halloween is over. Thanksgiving is my fav. Best meal of the year and you don’t have to buy any presents!

From the looks of him, he is REALLY stinky and nasty. Nobody wants that around them.

They used to say that the relatively late American Thanksgiving (as opposed to the Canadian one) helped stave off the start of Christmas shopping season. I suppose that’s Halloween now, and will be Independence Day in my lifetime.

If the Headless Horseman comes by, you might at least be able to get rid of the head.

I love Thanksgiving. It’s a time to be grateful for all your blessings. We cook a simple dinner at home and then we walk around our property feeding the birds and the animals as well. The next day we put up a few favorite Christmas decorations. It’s a nice calm tradition.

Maybe June will stop rushing into Christmas. Only way she’ll learn.
