Ok, I get the gag. But it really doesn’t tie together well with the visual. The dialog is too elaborate for “the hassle of a field trip” visual theme.

When I was in 5th grade, one other kid and I didn’t have our permission slips for a trip. So they left us. All alone in our classroom all day. A teacher would stick their head in every so often, but that was it. I think we had more fun than the class!
