Some vegetables are crunchy as snacks and healthier.

No sign of the usual suspects

Not bad with peanut butter…

Vegetables are what food eats.

That’s a signal to call and order a pizza.

Our youngest grandkids love veggies and ranch dressing dip.

If the dinner IS OUT running, late, I wouldn’t mind if the snacks are coming in early with the tide.

Eat up and shut up. There are kids starving all over the world who would love to be in your place.

Oh my- Is that the dark cloud of death descending in the second panel???!!! The proper dip can make vegetables very tasty.

Even the crudest Crudités is workable with enough Ranch Dressing. (Wipe out the empty bowl with a chunk of bread.)

this may come as a surprise to you two, snacks can be veggies as well as a bunch of other few items… it’s also considered as an appetizer. why did I feel the need to mention any of that is beyond me, oh well. :J

Raw veggies are good snacks…for Rabbits.

They both appear to not understand what a raw vegetable is, or that it can be eaten and enjoyed. It looks like a container of ranch dressing is included.

We’d always have bagels or donuts at office meetings, until a new manager decided to give us veggies and dip instead. That didn’t last long, nor did she.

Oh the horror VEGGIES !!!!!!!!!!!

This strip remind me of Thanksgiving at my ex’s God Parents in Germany. We took a few traditional U.S. items for the feast including a dinner plate filled with stuffed stalk celery. First, Europeans generally have no idea what stalk celery is, let having it stuffed with peanut butter. With the exception of what we ate of the celery all of went into the frig for over night. We got up early and checked the trash and frig. Guess what all of it was gone, not tossed. They were just afraid that even though we were relatives, that we might be offended if they didn’t like it. The joke was on them we saw their smirks when they got up.

Gladys did provide a dip, so dig in boys.

Standing alone, it’s not a snack under any definition unless you are a vegetarian. Put that out as the snack for a football game party and that’s the last party anyone will ever attend. That being said, just grin and bear it, dinners only a short time away…..

Don’t knock it, that’ll probably be the only edible part of the meal.

M-m-m, carrots! I may be weird but I love carrots even more than chocolate, and I love chocolate.

By the time she returns, the ranch dip will be empty but none of the vegetables will be touched.

It’s actually nice to be the odd one who likes everything. At parties, even when they run low on the good junk food, I still have an unlimited supply of munchies at the often under-visited veggie plates.
