Make your guest room available for the incoming family. People in Texas border cities are asked to do it all of the time. Don’t be hypocritical.

And is Mike housing a refugee family? We housed a family from Guatemala last year until their paperwork was approved and then their family up here could take them in. Ottawa and Victoria and Toronto can be painfully slow. But at least they welcome new arrivals. And we made new friends.

Classic Straw Man.

We need solutions more practical than hoping for the charity of individuals. But the United States has long depended on the charity of individuals to prop up systemic problems.

The major hypocrite I see here is Mr. Lester, but that’s just my opinion speaking.

Why aren’t the refugees staying in Mexico? What are they fleeing as they pass through Mexico on their way to the US? There are many other countries to which they could flee. Why make the dangerous trek here using the cartels? Seems like that should be prima facia evidence they’re not refugees.

Mike doesn’t have any friends

Yes ,you made new friends. They were LEGAL NEW friends. Would you like NEW friends like that are coming to America? The NEW friends that are committing crimes, overtaking hotels and parks. The local citizens are outraged. Prime Minster Troudeau ,who idolizes Fidel Castor regime, what would he do with the same influx of NEW friends?

It is also interesting that NO Republicans, at any level, have proposed ANY legislation to address immigration (other than some variation of The Wall).

Has anyone seen any legislative proposal from Lester or any other extreme right wing cartoonist?

A lot of truth here, they want them in but want someone else to take care of them.

Try living in Texas. The Southern Border is a war zone (and our citizens are paying for it not only monetarily but in LIVES) – Biden CAUSED IT and he DOES NOT CARE.
