Baseball Season?

Personally, I’m tired of seeing ball player lick their fingers!!!!

Never did like watching Baseball, but I enjoy playing the game. I like to pitch and when you hit a home run it’s the same feeling you get when you get a strike in bowling.

This year it seems more and more umpires are on an ego trip and think they can decide how big the strike zone is. It messes with the batters heads when they have to cover up to six or eight inches outside. It is time to go with the computerized strike zone.

Yes, they have always done that.

Notice the high number of ‘likes’ when Neil was in the strip a couple days back. Then notice the drop off in likes the next day. SFANID

Stopped watching and listening after the 1994 – 1995 strike – lockout. Millionaires and billionaires arguing over how they are going to rob us.

I think the PGA should have a putt clock, what’s fair is fair. It’s OK that football is allotted 3 hours on TV and so with Golf. Pitchers’ duels take more time that other games, so l think in every game each team should spotted 150 runs. Here’s a good way to speed up the games, whenever a player gets a homerun, the batter and all the runners just trot to the dugout and they up the score; rounding the bases is such a waste of time.

And don’t me started about basketball officiating.

I grew up in the 50s and 60s and for reasons I never understood my parents seemed to feel it was necessary for me to participate in Little League baseball. I wasn’t particularly good or bad at it, mostly just found it very boring to play, and even more boring to watch. Pretty much the only ‘sport’ that rivals Golf for being a total waste of time.

Also after 9pm the umpires are less likely to be accused of blindness.

What is with all these inter-league games? Those were always just exhibition games.
