This raises a question for me, as Biden would turn 86 after the 2028 election would he still be the sole President elect to give the order? Is there a caretaker convention?

Ted presents something which is a concern to many. Not necessarily how Joe is doing today in 2023 (though some do point out that he is not as sharp as he was as VP to Obama) but in 2028 when he is finishing up his second term. Of course barring any dramatic changes to those who are running the DNC as well as whoever is in charge of that insane asylum known as the RNC we will have Biden/Harris (no mention of replacing her yet) against in all likelihood either Trump or DeSatan. A strong 3rd party candidate could draw votes like Gary Johnson/Weld did in 2016 but will it affect the bottom line? Weld/Johnson did not hurt Trump enough to flip WI, MI and PA to Hillary.

So if we have a rematch or a Desatan/Biden election I will guess Biden will win by similar numbers as he did 2020 unless the repubbas succeed in stifling the vote in places like Georgia which they seem intent on doing. Will Biden’s message that its him or the alt-right be enough? We shall see. Personally if he were to pick a progressive VP to replace Kamala and promote her to the cabinet in some fashion, I think that can ease serious concerns about the “what ifs” that would come up if Biden is unable to finish his term. A progressive VP would be better for obvious reasons than someone who was picked as a “safe” choice by the DNC to fulfill a promise of putting a woman of color as VP. We can still have that, just a more progressive and charismatic person such as Karen Bass or Val Demings. If color is not a concern, Gretchen Whitmer or Liz Warren would be logical choices to keep the progressives from staying home or voting 3rd party,

    What’s your alternative, Ted?

Bernie’s not running and has endorsed Biden, so who’s up?

At least Ted thinks 2028 will have some degree of sanity in office, who will be running then?

We survived the second term of the senile Ronald Reagan. Besides, the president can’t just “nuke” anyone. There are checks on it. Case in point: Richard Nixon’s last year in the White House.

Actually in DC (Biden probably has a Delaware license) if you are > 70 you have to take the vision test not the road test.

GOP started this crap, so their sheep will focus on all the conspiracy theories ……they all have the same script….

Nikki Haley, (will say anything to win the GOP nom) , and others are now following her lead. How CRUEL and crass‼️

Is this the sort of scum you want your kids to look up to and admire ⁉️

They have NO a respect for any human being and run over anyone that gets in their way! Rump style!

BTW, federal law prevents the President, Vice-President and a few other office holders from driving while in office and after office for a few years for some of the higher ups. And even after that for a few years from driving alone. Wen Joe drove his Corvette with Jay Leno that was a very controlled drive. And don’t talk to me about his drive of the Ford F-150 Lightning electric around the track.

In order to nuke Canada, doesn’t he have to remember that there is such a country as “Canada”?

If the choice is Trump or Biden, then the potential for Biden being senile by 2028 is worth the risk.

How ‘bout his performance at the correspondent’s dinner? Quite the opposite of the demented drooler depicted here. The likely alternative only makes him look better.

Its actually 70, but if you got this wrong can you be trusted to get anything else right?

Drivers age 70 and older must renew in person and have a doctor complete the Medical Fitness and Mature Driver Certification portions of the driver’s license application.

It took me two minutes, not like you don’t have the time, working from home

With Kamala Harris saying today that “18-24 year olds are STUPID” he may not be president come 2028, after alienating literally every voting bloc that made him president in just three short years.

Pure ageism. My father-in-law was sharp well into his nineties, which is not so terribly uncommon. Biden seems to be all there. He’s just old. Get over it.

MTG keeps saying that any presidential candidate over 75 should have to take a competency test. That means tRump would have to take one. I can just imagine how that would turn out. But why just presidential candidates? What about senate and house candidates?
