Couldn’t help myself to ask my Alexa to play Lordon Gightfoot’s “Sunup” after reading this.

No! I can’t believe that Gordon Lightfoot would be playing the role of such a diabolical spy for the gov! “If you could read my (his) mind, love. Oh what a tale his (stool pigeon) thoughts could tell!” Gord would rather be on a ‘Carefree Highway, love’.

Everything, these days, is spying on us. I used to think my neighbor was just paranoid.

My son believes the same thing. Although once, my wife was annoyed at me, and yelled “What is wrong with you!?” and the Alexa device said “Do you need me to call emergency services?” THAT was a little weird.

I’m with bird brain . . . I don’t want Alexa in my house.

Who told Alexa “she” or it could think??? It’s more like Amazon is listening to you. Just say out loud “I need a great price on a ________!” Fill in the blank for whatever you want. You’ll get a popup ad or an advertisement in the mail.

For once, I agree with the parrot!

I like his older stuff. For some reason, I think of GL and I think of “Did She Mention My Name” and “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” ever since I was on a boat that went through the Soo Locks with the Arthur Anderson, if you know that sad story.

Funny, I was just talking with someone this morning about getting rid of my smartphone for this very reason
