Ol’ Oliver W seems to me to be the sort of guy to be the secret head of the Blue Circle.

He’ll profit big time when Grimm scares everyone into voting more money for “defense”.

So, the Blue Circle jerks are back. They will soon be in possession on the head of Xaxos.

So the Blue circle is looking for someone riding a White horse and they’ve decided on a man who is Red-faced with anger (at least, he should be red-faced). Never realized these guys were so patriotic.

The plot thickens. Can Xaxos be making a comeback? How about Punjab and the Asp?

I’ve been wondering what happened to the Blue Circle. They were reintroduced weeks ago.

A lot going on here. It will all come together soon.

Joe Allen: In the first panel, they say that some generals have challenged the wisdom of their superiors and “paid the price.” Then they say that Grimm was one of those. So I assume that he was fired, as was General McArthur by Harry Truman during the Korean war. Whether for advocating the use of atomic bombs in North Korea to block Chinese invasion routes, or other reasons, I don’t think anyone knows for sure. But he was fired for cause. So I think it’s safe to say that the writers are correct here to state that Grimm is an “ex-General.”

Fired, but it was called forced retirment, so he could have some diginity left for his years of service.

Am could travel back in time, grab P & A, and return post haste.

Its pretty obvious from the early reference to the apocalypse, that the man on the white horse here is not a rescuing cowboy, but Jesus come back to take bloody revenge as prophesied in Revelation 19:

[11] And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. [12] His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. [13] And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. [14] And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. [15] And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. [16] And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
