Dad came up with the cookie idea so HE gets to make them.

Until the government comes by with its small business killing regulations and shuts her down for not having a valid permit.

Until some busybody files a complaint with the city or the HOA gives notice of a covenant violation!

When my brother & I were kids, we had a lemonade stand. We were really high-tech; we used our Lite-Brite as a sign (with a lo-o-o-o-ong extension cord).

Hah! Wait until Zoe gets the license application to fill out. And where’s she going to get the money to pay the fee?

Lemonade gets warm in a hurry when you’re selling it outdoors.

I’ll bet “Pop” didn’t do any thing he says he did.

Snowflakes really need to get a grip. I cannot believe there has ever been anyone harmed from a homemade lemonade stand.

Making money takes hustle.When I was 13, Along with my paper route, I spent a summer redoing the webbing on lawn chairs for people. A lot of people had those old lawn chairs with faded and frayed webbing in the area I lived in. but redoing the webbing yourself is a pain and nobody wants to do it themselves. So I went around offering the service. People would tell their friends and I would get referral customers from all over the area. From school end to mid-august, I was spending approx. 2-4 hours a day rewebbing those chairs. I had various webbing samples in a folder from my early jobs that I would show customers to help them pick out colors. And then I would bike to the store and buy supplies for the work. In reference to this comic, my parents told me they appreciated I found a way as a 13 year old to make money that didn’t require them to basically have a extra summer job themselves.
