Too bad Ted isn’t allowed to criticize Putin.

Although he doesn’t seem to mind the monotony of being a broken record criticizing Biden.

Rall seems to have decided that the right wing calumnies about Biden’s mental ability are real. I think he’s entirely wrong to do that, but then I have no proof for OR against his assertion, being dependent on the news as it’s reported.

Oh wow! Great one, Ted. Always love your take on politics, but this one is particularly apt…

Had Rall lived 80 years ago he would have drawn the same cartoon, with Hitler and Germany instead of Putin and Russia.

Biden’s brain likely works better than yours Ted.

I’m kind of surprised you are wasting time on this, while Jared Kushner received and is receiving quite the bribe for his part in allowing a Saudi Prince to violently murder a journalist. 2 Billion dollars and was it 43 or 53 million a year to manage that money. Wonder what other deals the Trump crime family made for Saudi that we haven’t heard about yet?

I think Ted is pointing out that Banker Joe might be a bit past his prime. It happens to best of us. The great Thurgood Marshall simply said when he had to step down from SCOTUS in the ‘90s was that he was “coming apart”. It was a sad moment as that gentleman was a great champion for the working man’s rights and civil liberties to be followed by John Paul Stevens and RBG, but sadly not many more. The point is that Banker Joe is long is the tooth, so is Pelosi and over half the senate! Heck Feinstein might be running in 2024 at age 91, can we say Strom Thurmond y’all? The establishment says that these people deserve the respect to choose their time to step down but pragmatically it is time to put some young blood into the inner circle! Newsom for Feinstein would be a start IMHO.

No, Ted; just because you refuse to acknowledge the efforts made by President Biden on all those things doesn’t mean they are not being attended to. So instead of tanning your testicles, be a man and try admitting President Biden and administration is actually doing the job we elected him to do.

Amazing number of oblivious comments. The comments really emphasize the point of the comic; that politicians, and people, are hyperfocused on the war in Ukraine, to the exclusion of everything else. Intelligent discourse has been perverted into Putin Bad, and Not Worshipping Democrats Is Heresy.

    A couple of observations:

    1. Foreign policy is the area most subject to a president’s unilateral control. Other matters require cooperation of congress, the judiciary, state and local governments, etc.; and

    2. Who’s obsessed? Maybe you is.

Ted is under the impression that the President of the US is a king and rules by fiat. The truth is that the President has limited powers. He can sign off on laws and he can (or not) enforce them. He’s in charge of diplomacy, to a point – he can’t make treaties with out Congresses OK. He controls the military, but he can’t declare war (not that matters anymore). He has to deal with Congress and the Judiciary.

Congress is nearly evenly split. One party is trying to do things, but the other is willing to watch the country burn than compromise. That side is busy yelling about imaginary things (they’re tanning their balls now, need we say more?). That side packed the courts with unqualified right wing judges.

It wouldn’t matter if President Biden had Brad Pitt’s good looks, the wisdom of Solomon and the youthful energy of Theodore Roosevelt. Unless the right starts to care about the country, nothing will get done.

The FBI reports crime is on the decrease, there is no “border crisis”. Since taking office Biden closed the border January 20, 2021, has arrested, sequestered, tested and treated, and brought before a judge over 180,000 illegal aliens per month. Over 200,000 per month have been deported because the Biden Admin is also tracking down those who have overstayed their visas.COVID-19 has surely been brought way down from it’s highs thanks to the program of getting vaccinated. The worker shortage in the U.S. is proof that illegal aliens are not a crisis. Inflation is world wide started by the Saudis announcing in February of 2021 they would raise oil prices to make up for their loss in profits due to COVID-19 in 2020. Inflation last year in the U.S. was at 8.5%, right now it’s at 7%. Europe is at 12% inflation rate. The inflation is world-wide, but the U.S. economy is booming in spite of tRump’s recession and over and above inflation. We have over 4% growth in GNP.

You have to admit that Biden is doing a great job. The USA are the clear winners in the Ukraine war. At home it diverts from various failures like infrastructure, internationally it diverts from atrocities directly related to US policies (Afghanistan, Yemen…) and, most importantly, countries that didn’t intend to join Nato like Sweden or Finland are now eager to, and many more; like Austria, seeing the danger at their doors decide to increase their defense budget and buy US weapons.
