    The Meteor was a Mercury made by Ford, My guess is this would be a ‘74 because the grill on the ‘73 was different, and the ‘75 had a hood ornament. Of course the hood ornament could have been knocked off upon impact.

    Had a ‘72 Mercury Montego. The front end would not have survived the impact.

    The only reason it crashed into it was because it was dark out and, much like the half-lit Hotel signs we see, the letters “PRISE” were out of neon.
