This story line is getting tiresome

“Caffeinism” in addition to acute toxicity, often causes long-term symptoms including hypokalemia, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, palpitations, seizures and dysrhythmia.

Caffeinism is indistinguishable from severe chronic anxiety when people ingest high sub-lethal does of 1 – 1.5g caffeine per day or about ten 12oz cups of drip coffee.

There’s not many reasons to look up the LD50 for caffeine, but apparently this is one (upward of 100 milligrams per kg of body weight) if anyone is planning a mystery novel or a murder. That’s ~75 to 100 cups of coffee.

I used to drink a case or more of Mt. Dew in a day and take No Doze on top of it. No Doz? Shrug, I forget how it’s spelled. I’d work ten to twelve hours delivering pizzas, and then stay up for eight hours playing video games all night. I’d sleep for a few hours and then do it all over again.

It’s only a matter of time before the Big One strikes him!!!!!
