I can make a bowl of cereal or soup at home from a box or a can. Is that necessarily healthy? I can fry or scramble an egg or two also. Again, is that necessarily healthy? I can make a salad with leaf lettuce, chopped radishes, sliced cucumbers & tomatoes, broccoli & cauliflower, & shredded cheese with French or Italian dressing. Again, is that necessarily healthy?

Fun fact. Before the chicken nugget there was the onion nugget. I’m not making this up

I wonder sometimes if the chicken knew he had nuggets.

Real food is anything that increases my waistline. Anything else is just on its way to becoming a digestive byproduct.

Fritos is my go to healthy food. All other bagged snacks have ingredient paragraphs a mile long. Not regular Fritos. Check the bag. Whole corn, salt. That’s it. Dig in and stop thanking me.

Real food is steak and baked potato with asparagus or green beans, roast beef with roasted potatoes and carrots, spaghetti, meatballs, and garlic bread, pork chops and applesauce, chicken, mashed potatoes, and peas, big turkey dinner, all accompanied with a side salad. That’s real food.
