In middle school a bully did that to someone and the victim gave him a counterfeit $20. The bully spent the rest of the day after lunch in the principal’s office and 2 weeks on suspension. His parents were investigated and although the police did not find any counterfeit money, they did find various illicit drugs in sufficient quantities to put the parents in prison for years and the bully into the foster system. Never heard about him since the end of that school year.

I liked bullies, they were fun
My older brothers were 4 and 5 years older than me and they hit harder than any bully my own age
I hit back harder than the bullies expected, that’s why they were fun
