Old stuff is confusing to the kids and their stuff is confusing to us. I see these headlines about celebrities and have no idea who the heck they are nor do I care.
Its crazy, I’m too young to have watched the old Lassie series, even in reruns. Still I know the old “Timmy fell down a well” because of all the parodies I’ve seen in webcomics.

Contrary to popular lore, Timmy never actually fell down a well in the TV show “Lassie”. I wonder how that rumor got started?

It was all great fun as a kid to watch how Lassie would come to the rescue on each episode. Looking back it is a bit silly now.
