Of course the actual solution is to invest in vehicles that don’t need as much or any gasoline to run on.

Except the US is a net EXPORTER of petroleum products and has been since 2011.

Gas prices have fallen 18¢/gallon from a week ago in my county. Time for conservatives to hand off to the fallback, Hunter Biden.

Cost of oil from OPEC – $$$ mere money.

Cost of domestic oil – $$$ plus the destruction of American open spaces. Countryside. National parks and preserves. All of which are irreplaceable.

We won’t be running cars on oil in a few years anyway. The only need we’ll have for oil will be synthetics. Which, if we’re smart (ha, ha) we’ll be recycling.

The US has plenty of money. What a shame we allow it to accumulate in the hands of the hyper-wealthy.

Let’s leave the oil where it is.
