Joan: Mom? Would you watch Max Saturday night so I can go out with Wally? Gramma: Sure. YOu could use some adult "R & R." Joan: I suppose. But I feel so bad leaving Max. I'm so busy during the week I hate to leave him on the weekends. Gramma: Please. He gets plenty of attention. Children should know that parents need time for themselves. He's not the center of the universe. Joan: Has anyone told him that?
