Well, the Trumpanzees said that COVID would disappear from the headlines after the election, and by gum they made it happen.

4,000 Americans die every day from republican covid spreading.

Don’t need a second impeachment, Matt.

There is no double jeopardy relating to the impeachment process. The Fifth Amendment applies double jeopardy to “Capital and other infamous crimes.” The Senate can try Trump again on the original Articles of Impeachment. It can try him over and over until it gets the desired outcome. Maybe a trial in the morning, afternoon and evening daily from now until noon January 20 would be worth the effort. Even if the trials fail, they would be entertaining.

So, we don’t impeach because it will take the attention away from getting anything done to get the slow moving vaccine distribution process speeded up… Is that the answer? Is Congress that incompetent?
