I was going to guess Odie in the Garfield strip.
What’s rotund, lives in LA – LA land and thinks that the universe belongs to it??
;-)
Well well Hurricane Hattie, Time goes by so quickly when you’re around. I’m afraid it’s time for you to go home. I’m sure your parents must be missing you by now!
What’s black and white and red all over?
I used to offer my kids riddles like, “what has four legs, moos, and is made of cement?” “A cow. I threw in the cement to make it harder.”
What has three legs and MANY eyes? A potato on a tripod.
SWOOSH!
Her riddles leave a lot to be desired and in this case is just downright wrong……
I’m going to have to show this to my husband, because this is the kind of stunt he pulls quite often.
Q: How do you get down off an elephant?
A: Don’t be silly, you get down off a duck…
Q: What did the elephant say to the naked man?
A: How do you pick anything up with that? ☺
Brutus needs new neighbors.
What is it that at dawn walks with four legs; at noon with two and at sunset with three?
My solution involved a dog and a cat flying through air, but this is a family strip soo… I won’t go there!
Except that even with the cat-has-nine-lives thing, we have 11 lives among the three of them.
What do you get when you cross a kangaroo with an elephant? Boxing trunks
What’s big and red and eats rocks? A big red rock-eater!
Thank you, Bennett Cerf’s Book of Riddles, from Beginner Books, which I read long, long ago . . .
Knew some of them in school, but they could not figure out new math.
