Oh goody. A Trumper who wants to just lie like his messiah is the first comment. The documents have come out. Sessions and Rod both demanded that babies be ripped from their parent’s arms. DEMANDED it. And no one followed up on what the hell happened to the babies when their parent(s) were deported home without them. If we were still a part of the International Court, Trump’s entire cabinet should be tried at the Hague for crimes against humanity. Obama only housed teenagers who were unaccompanied, and everyone got their immigration hearing with the usual 70-80% being deported because they failed to prove asylum claims.

The whole idea was to be as cruel to the kids and the parents as possible. Or at least what they thought they could get away with.

This was so it would be a ‘deterrent’.

Except, they tried to conceal their cruelty by suppressing information coming out of the prison camps/detention centers.

So, when you hide what is happening, the whole concept of deterrence disappears. And what you are left with is cruelty for its own sake.

there is one good thing Trump could do for America while he languishes in jail, take the GOP down with him. That United decision is what absolutely corrupted their party. Eisenhower, Ford, H.W. Bush and even Nixon, (gosh he was bad but he was no traitor,) ran the country well and didn’t shame us on the world’s stage. But the GOP now is just comprised of vermin who put power and greed first while America is defiled.
