The rest of us are VERY SAD that she shuffled so soon off this mortal coil. Shouda coulda waited until after winter solstice if I’d had any say in it. Still, she was excellent and WILL be missed.

Two SCOTUS seats manipulated to Republicans advantage. With Scalia’s seat Mitch McConnell refused to even give Obama’s nominee a hearing for 11 months. With Ginsburg’s seat, Mitch wants to rush a nominee through in 45 days. It’s clear now that the “rules” of the Senate are whatever the Party in the majority needs them to be to accomplish whatever they want to accomplish.

McConnell has two-faces – and both are ugly and self-serving . . .

Despite their differing political bents, Justices Scalia and Ginsburg respected and liked each other and worked together to fulfill the mission of the Court. Well done, Mr. Ramirez.

Say Ruth . . .You knew Trump would nominate a person for the Supreme Court before you were buried didn’t you ! Yes Anthony, and you knew I had a sense of humor. Yes, Ruth. That’s the best one liner you ever told.

The point of this cartoon was to remind us all that people with vastly different and opposite viewpoints can step away and be the very best of friends. Scalia and RGB were able to set aside their ideological and political beliefs and revel in the pure joy of shared interests and mutual passions.

They kept their professional and private lives totally separate. They understood that attacking or disagreeing with an IDEA is not the equivalent to attacking the PERSON. They did not view each other as evil or bad. Just wrong.

Of course, this presumes they both end up in the same place…

Suck it up cupcake. Or have you forgotten the Bork and Thomas hearings? Don’t like the rules? Change them.

I hope you libs realize that this whole mess could have been avoided if RBG retired during the Obummer administration, but no, even with her health issues and even though she was already in her 80’s she wouldn’t do that, so you have no one to blame but yourselves.

I serious doubt that image considering the number of infant deaths she responsible for.

Beautifully done. It doesn’t matter whether you agree with someone’s politics….It’s important to find the areas where you do agree with another person and learn how to talk together…to disagree without being disagreeable. Through that, we’ll get through this time…and fix public schools.
