We’re also now paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for a “weapon” to replace a bullet, and a quarter billion for “fighter aircraft” that aren’t even intended to engage the enemy directly, launching their missiles from 100 miles away.

^ And I agree. However, with that kind of reasoning, our seniors shouldn’t be made to give up healthcare over it.
If we want unlimited military spending [some of it is indeed wasteful], taxes have to go up.
