I agree. So far, there just isn’t a “stand out” candidate w/ any hope of running a strong campaign.

^She has a gig on “Body of Proof”- after doing “Star Trek”- so why should she want into politics- oh, you didn’t mean THAT Ryan??? From science fiction to running a morgue just seems an appropriate segway to Republican politics.

Driving to work today I saw a “PALIN 2012” sticker on an SUV that also had NRA stickers on it. It was driven by a young white lady. No, I’m not kidding. And you guys think no one takes her serious. Plenty of wing-nuts take her serious.

^ I think she’s perfectly fine right where she is: A media hound. She serves a better function out of the potical scene.

In December 2002 (23 months before), Senator Kerry formed an exploratory committee.

In January 1995 (22 months before), Bob Dole formed an exploratory committee.

In August 1991 (15 months before), Bill Clinton formed an exploratory committee.

It’s not really too soon (18 months before) to look for the Republican nominee among the currently mentioned candidates.
