GASP, is this the end of Earl?!?

It occurs to me that since Staton and Curtis took over, we have not had ONE repeated panel. Which means we’re getting 25% more comic strip than before!And I have to ask again…when did Jimmy Olsen get a sex change?But anyway. I am so happy Dick did not die in Locher’s hands.

It looks like “Honest Earl” is going to meet the same fate as that other honest feller he resembles.Flakey Biscuits is a pretty strict company to work for, and their severance package sucks!Tomorrow Tracy and company make their appearance, and we get to find out something about Sam…

That shadowed faces on Earl and Hot Rize in panel 3 speaks volumes on the quality of ART that now resides in Dick Tracy. No words needed, they seem to foreshadow an awsome event !

Not only (as Jumbo observed), are there NO repeat (or paste up) panels, but we don’t have to endure panels with the walls of a building every day.

Does anyone know how we can EDIT our ‘comments’ after posting ?

@Jumbobrain I am getting a Jimmy Olsen vibe from the strip but not from the bad guy. Junior, in a good way, reminds me a lot of the Jimmy Olsen from the 90’s Superman animated show.

Ah, Joe just loves that noir stuff.

I promise not to have Junior say GOLLY JEEPERS,

But in story 4, Honeymoon gets to adventure with Tracy the way Junior once did.

Junior is now resembling something from the Archie comics. (This was meant for the other day, just late posting it)

The third panel has more BTU’s in it than any story or panel Tracy has had in 20 years! Congrats, guys!

Well, there’s now a by-line on the strip, but it’s just one name (Joe). Maybe the new improved site only allows for one name… does this mean Joe and Mike are going to alternate days? Enquiring minds want to know…

Earl’s elevator must not go to the top floor. Hot Rize just referred to the flour in “kilos”. Earl, are you related to the Plenty’s?

You know, if she hadn’t blurted out that one kilo of “flour” was worth $22,000, she wouldn’t have to kill poor Earl.

A big improvement over all in this strip. DT has been saved.

I am loving this new DT strip…may comment more after I have been reading it for a while (I’m sort of a “newbie” here right now). Many thanks to “Fan” for coming over to FT and encouraging us take a look at the new DT.

Truthfully, the new concept of doing TRACY that Joe and I (along with Shelley and Shane) do is eliminating most recaps so we can tell a story faster. This worried me, but everyone seems to be doing okay with it.

Evidently the lesbian is European what with measuring her flour in kilos and whatnot.

MikeCurtis, I don’t think anyone here needs recaps, not with the way the stories hold attention.
