Some republicans are going to wish they had spines in November. Sucking up to dumpty the last 4 years isn’t playing well in some parts of the country.

We are NOT each other’s enemies!!!!! We simply express different viewpoints with an evil lion tamer poking us to make us growl! We espouse rival ideas; we’ve mostly been able to compromise and live together in something resembling peace and mutual help. Rivals can be friends, brothers, sisters, partners. We’re just people, people. Let’s start acting like the higher life form we think we are!

So I saw this sign during one of the protest clips, it said “Every horror movie begins with a politician ignoring a scientist”. Not a fan of horror genre, so idk if it is true about movies. I can see how it would be true in real life though.

When it comes to Democratic Party “leadership,” Bucky is unfortunately correct. The corporatist Republicans reliably nominate the worst case scenario for the American people, and the Democrats reliably nominate the candidate most capable of losing to the worst case scenario.

I wish we could skip this narrative arc. This was not all that funny 12 years ago and it’s completely unfunny now.

Ironically, it’s taken the Lincoln Project to fight fire with fire. Not always the right strategy, but the Dems need a new play in the playbook. Hopefully they’ll learn from this.

i live in Canada, and i love it when American politics are brought into these comics. I see the comic as funny at face value. He could’ve used zebras and pineapples as opposing sides, and still be humorous. But it certainly gets people into an unwarranted political discussion when a discussion/comment about the humor is more apt in the comment area. Comment about THE COMIC, not your “mail in voting”. But don’t worry, we have a disaster in federal office at this time.
