Don’t forget to see the Mitt who got rich buying up American companies and selling off the assets (incl all the jobs) to foreign investors.
Mitt made his money off the backs of the American worker and then made sure the American worker had nothing to come back to.
Interesting information there, Adam. Can you give a list of those companies along with the number of US employees before and after the sale? Just asking.
Kylop, he’s considered the front runner. He’s not wacky, like Bachmann; he’s really running, unlike Trump, Palin, and Gingrich; he’s pro-business, having been an ex-CEO of Bain.
Incidentally, beenthere, you may think you’re being clever asking that, but that’s what venture capitalists do. They buy into a company, make it more efficient in some ways, sell off chunks to pay for the cost, and sell the company off, making a huge profit in the process.
Motive,
If he’s not wacky he’s not going to appeal to the base for the primaries.
Yes he’s pro business.
But he was governor of MA- which will count against him in a lot of places.
He’s already got his name connected to a version of health care which the other contenders will use to tear him apart.
Even if he gets past those he was governor for the Big Dig. That would be held against him too.
^^Kylop, agreed; I think he’s the favorite of the establishment GOP, as opposed to the louder fringers for all those reasons. He can dodge the Big Dig, up to a point - Dukakis got that started, after all; Romney only helped make it overpriced by bad management…

He missed “Pro-Choice” Mitt and “Pro-Life” Mitt. And “Liberal Massachusetts Governor” Mitt.
