From a completely foreign (Australian) point of view I have to say that the attitude towards guns taken by “one side” in your gun argument/problem is bloody ridiculous.I am sure, no, certain (as I can be without reading your constitution), that the gun lobby’s position is reading into the text a lot that was not meant to be.We had a similar problem down here until one pollie, the them Prime Minister, stood up and grew a backbone, delivering a gun control law that has WORKED!!!Despite the occasional howl from rabid gun freaks there are hardly any murders, injuries or accidents in this country.Let’s hope, for your and your country’s sake, your latest scandal involving the heads of the NRA results in a weakening of their power.
