So Ramirez, if you think both sides are wrong (and equally crazy), could you suggest a solution that is to your liking? You could draw a cartoon with your carefully researched and analyzed solution that would be ideal for the health of the people as well as the economy. Or at the very least suggest someone rational that you think we should be listening to? It is so easy to criticize, than to come up with good solutions.
How did this become a left-right issue? Keep things closed more people live, open them way more people die. This is not about any political ideology, it’s about not being stupid.
National Socialism [German: Nationalsozialismus], commonly known as Nazism, is the ideology and practices associated with the Nazi Party [or NSDAP] in Nazi Germany, and of other far-right groups with similar ideas and aims.

Karl Marx was a German philosopher, political economist, and revolutionary author of The Communist Manifesto. Marx is the godfather of the far-left.

I don’t think very many leftists are saying that everything should be shut down. Clearly hospitals, for instance, need to keep functioning. Also food production and distribution. The form of these and other essential services may have to change for a while. I do wonder if tattoo parlors count as an essential service. What about the fate of small business? (Including, presumably, tattoo parlors)? We need some form of bridge financing, perhaps long-term low or zero interest loans, for small businesses. If we can prop up the big businesses, we can support small businesses.
What Mr. Ramirez calls “Close Everything” is actually a medical judgement by pandemic experts, and then nibbled at by state and federal functionaries and politicians. Then there is the Trump factor. Mr. Ramirez sees both sides as a political duel. If Mr. Ramirez would have his way (“Open Everything”), it will take a lot longer for the corid19 to infect enough people (something like 80%) to develop some substantial resistance. And, epidemic conditions will continue for ? years while the 65 + generation is on the way to eradication. This is an interesting opinion on the part of Mr. Ramirez.
Well, since I’m stuck in the middle with all of you, how about we decide that the correct response is to get more testing! … so that we can look at more (enough) data so that we can make an INFORMED decision?
Thank you, Mike Ramirez for demonstrating what is wrong with conservatives in America.
The politicize EVERYTHING!!!
Guess what, Mike…science is just science! It’s just the facts as best we can tell, based on all available evidence. Science isn’t on the left or the right, it’s just the truth according to the data.
But like Newt Gingrich said, when the Democrats believe something, it must all be lies.
America used to have a team of scientists and medical personnel whose job was to monitor the news for any hint of an outbreak anywhere on the planet and dispatch a team to isolate it at its’ source. The Obama administration set it up after the Ebola scare, and it dealt with several other minor outbreaks after that. Trump cut the agency in his first budget. If we had functional leadership, we wouldn’t have to be worrying about when to reopen anything, because it would never have gotten here. We would be shipping supplies to China to control it over there

Well, I don’t know why you suck up the right
I got the feeling that you’re way too uptight
I’m so scared in case I kill off my love
And I’m wondering what I’ll do when I’m shoved
Marx to the left of me, Hitler to the right
Here I am, stuck in the middle with you
Yes, I’m stuck in the middle with you
And I know what it is I should do
It’s so hard to keep my hands from my face
Losing control, yeah, I’m all over the place
Marx to the left of me, Hitler to the right
Here I am, stuck in the middle with you
Well, you opened up with nothing
And you’re proud that you’re a Trump-made man
And your voters all come a coughin’
Slap you on the back and say, “Please, please”
Trying to make some sense of it all
But I can see it makes no sense at all
Is it cool to step out the door?
Well, I don’t think I can kiss anymore
Marx to the left of me, Hitler to the right
Here I am, stuck in the middle with you

If we had a competent administration, we would’ve had fewer deaths and wouldn’t have needed to be shut down as long.

Ramirez draws another brilliant cartoon.
He eloquently expresses the Trump Disciple outlook of oversimplification, false equivalence, false choices, and lying all in one cartoon.
.
Time for your bleach infusion, Ramirez. Gotta save the stock market for YOUR GUY!

You keep forgetting these people are protesting the Trump Admin guidelines.
