Yup, the hormone is in the animal’s bloodstream, there is blood in the meat we eat but for some reason, they are supposed to magically disappear as the animal is killed or as the meat is cooked.

^ & ^^ Growth hormones were commonly added to livestock feed for weight gain years ago - diethylstilbestrol for example. I thought they were regulated out of the food chain??
