The Foreign Legionnaire and his troops are walking along a sand dune in the blazing sun. He thinks,"Straighten up, there! I'll make you regret the soft life in Paris, my friends! I promise you!!"<BR><BR> He thinks,"March! March! March!"<BR><BR> He thinks,"Here's the World-Famous Sergeant-Major of the Legion Etrangere leading his troops across the desert."<BR><BR> He points in front of him and thinks,"There it is, men! We've found it! Fort Zinderneuf!"<BR><BR> As the troops start flying up to the top of the doghouse, the Foreign Legionnaire thinks,"To the ramparts! Keep a sharp lookout!"<BR><BR> The Foreign Legionnaire and his troops perch atop the doghouse. He thinks,"Here we must stay until the relief column arrives from Tokotu!"<BR><BR> Sally stands by the window looking out. She goes to Charlie Brown, who is in the kitchen preparing dog-food. She says,"I think your dog has finally cracked up." He replies,"Maybe...but I'm in no position to say."<BR><BR> He walks out of the house carrying the dog-food and concludes,"I'm the relief column from Tokotu!"<BR><BR>

The officers and NCOs were French, however—at least, according to Beau Geste, which is what Snoopy’s playing at. Almost everyone also used false names to enlist, too, so saying “world famous” about anyone in the Legion is exra-ridiculous. But then, I’m the French lass Woodstock met at the cafe in Paris, still pining for him, so who am I to talk?
