Given how many locations are getting sleet, freezing rain, and snow over the next few days — or have already gotten them in the last week — this was an ill-timed strip.
Alex and Max would be frozen to the bottom of that pool in my area. We’ve had two storms this week one leaving a foot and a half of snow, and it has been just above freezing without the wind chill. I’ve spent this week arguing with the dogs that leaving the back door open won’t make it warm outside and, no we’re not playing I can go in and I can go out. I’ve gone to making them stay outside for 15 minutes when they start on this game, then they come in and go sleep.
Hey Phil what do you mean only 30 days left, I turn older 31st and not happy, only one day next day none. I feel bad baby born very last day. I thought Stone family lived in Canada do they have snow there? I know a comic strip.
When I was a child, our back door opened out. We were having a Santa Ana wind which caught the door as I was going into the house and I got thrown over right the fence. Dad changed the door that same day.
The day after Thanksgiving, My wife and I were at the lake. The temperature topped out at 80 degrees. This has been fairly typical since I was a kid, 40+ years ago. I can remember running around wearing just short pants on a number of Christmases, here on the upper Texas Coast. Our “Winter” is usually 2 weeks of what folks from up North (Dallas, lol) call “Late Fall”. I’m good with it. Born in July, I dislike cold weather intensely.

now are Alix and Max going to imagine they’re on an Arctic SCUBA expedition (like look for the “Titanic” or for narwhals and belugas)?

Where do they live? Key West?

Why, in some Comix, do outer doors open out?

Wrong attitude Jan! If your kid had a 106 fever would you try your best to fix it or would you say “she’s heating the room! Gotta love high fevers!”

Yeah, the climate does change. Daily.

There was a thunderstorm last night. Unusual for the end of November in Wisconsin.

No one made a political comment about climate change. Yea.

Exactly. Our home is a cottage and the doors open outwards.
