I’m not sure my imagination is up to creating Bachmann, and I write science fiction…besides, there’s the Harry Golden Rule, as stated by Calvin Trillin: “in present-day America it’s very difficult, when commenting on events of the day, to invent something so bizarre that it might not actually come to pass while your piece is still on the presses.”

I’ll write the same thing I wrote on Clay Bennett’s wall; In this day and age, even politics have to be entertainment. If it is entertaining, people will believe it more than they believe the boring truth. What is more entertaining than a conspiracy theory?
