Joan: Max, look! I bought you a bubble shooter.
Joan: See...you dip it in here...then push the trigger...
Joan: See? Bubbles galore!
Joan: Ooooh pretty.
Max: Oooh lame.
Your little sister would be entertained for hours if you used that, Max. Now go be a good boy and play with Luci. You’ll get major brownie points, and maybe you’ll show your mom that you are trying to be responsible. Eventually you’ll get that rubber band shooter back.
Max won’t like that bubble machine. He likes being destructive. If Max had a water gun he would have major fun but inside house and people would get soaked.
Wish Zitts were on GC. People can relate with teens and SS. Though suppose to be entertaining. I can sent message to tech support on GC concerning people like me can’t change icons without lossing and going blank.
Maybe it’s just me, but I think a Nintendo Entertainment System and a copy of The Legend of Zelda would help keep him from attacking people and destroying things with G-rated weapons.
I was at the chiro Friday morning and one woman had a boy about this age. He took a disk that looked like a poor man’s Bosu and was jumping on it with both feet- his mom (and I) were afraid it would break; I told him he should try balancing on one foot on it and that it is very hard. That kept him busy for a while; kids like a challenge. With this, I might have told him to try to catch as many as possible before they hit the ground.

Bubbles? That’s not really a replacement for a rubber band gun or slingshot.

But using one of those plastic wands is more of a learning experience.
And it’s a simple gift to watch the bubbles.

Nerf gun.

Careful, Joanie. Knowing Max he’d open the gun and drink the liquid, and then you’d have a real problem.

Nerf gun is definitely the way to go.
We gave our guys marshmallows to toss, but they get too sticky and hard for indoors.
