The news brightened my day but was soon replaced with the trip was canceled. I wish they had kept their mouths shut about arresting him. Maybe next time they will. We can only hope.
A lone country can’t arrest Presidents for stupid international policy that results in tens of thousands of deaths, hundreds of thousands maimed, millions displaced, a region destabilized, and the home nation crippled, but it’s too bad they couldn’t. They could however embarrass him. Too bad those “UN bums” couldn’t do more than just vote against military intervention by a rogue nation breaking international law to meet it’s own agenda.
^ If so Stalin, Mao, Kim, Hussein and many, many others could have been arrested a long time ago… not to mention the many dictators that flee their own lands to some European country where they live the good life while their people suffer. Eh, but Bush is to blame for ‘water boarding’ a terrorist for information in Guantanamo… even though he wasn’t there and never gave a direct order. Wow, you all shine with love, forgiveness and a firm grasp on reality, goodness and evil.
Look, if it were Clinton, Obama, or even Pelosi at the helm I wouldn’t make such a stupid claim. But the left, again, shows that reality and intellectual honesty are meaningless concepts when they might challenge their desired End (the ends justify the means - good ol’ Marxism).
Mr. Benson, you made my day. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and the rest of their “brain trust” should be tried at the Hague. War crimes will not be prosecuted by Obama’s team. I read that the protesters in Switzerland were arming themselves with shoes.

That Ronald Reagan championed the UN Convention Against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment is delicious irony.

Clinton was impeached for having sex, but Bush’s idiocy killed thousands and he got away with it.

If Bush was so stupid why are Obama and the Dems saying he was right? Obama has kept quite a few of the Bush policies.
