    Etymology

Americanism from the 1920s, perhaps combining an alteration of fainaigue (“to renege”) with the suffix +‎ -le (“frequentive”);[1] compare haggle.

Finagling is a gateway activity. Before you know it you are twitching. Next comes kvetching….

What he’s doing in the last panel…I’ve never heard called finagling…unless he’s being dishonest with himself.

I looked all through the guy’s Garfield collection and didn’t find the only item I would have, the lady with those large Garfield eyes. They say that one should make eye contact and that is how I feel.

hey MzD-B… got a kick out of the squirrel thing too…. youngest son went to U of Mich. he and his girl friend “invented” squirrel “fishing” ie: teasing… using super light weight tackle they tied off a peanut, in the shell, and cast… the squirrels at UofM are well fed, friendly and very large… they could kill an afternoon squirrel fishing… the squirrels seemed to enjoy it too, plus they always ended up with a ton of nuts….

    cleokaya -

I wish you wouldn’t have pointed that out about the last panel. Will “finagle” now become just another euphemism for fapping???

I’m with 3hour, Teresa. Great blog! Loved the Louis Armstrong video! Also enjoyed the creative crossing paintings!

The BedBunker reminds me of a bed product I saw a while back, but I can’t find it now… it was a bed that converted into an enclosed shelter, in case of some sort of attack. When I saw the BedBunker, I thought at first it was this product.

If anyone knows what I’m talking about, post a link. It was a few years ago that I saw it, I think.

Great mushroom, but what does it have to do with the badgers? Is there a connection I’m missing?

I see photos of models dressed as nuns a lot. What’s so disturbing about this one? It’s nice, in my opinion.
