If that is Sam on the horse, that is the most preposterous plot I have come across in the Tarzan strips.

This strip reminds me of the movie Beau Geste They used the dead legionnaires the same way to fool the arabs into thinking there were more legionnaires.

In the story of Beau Geste, dead soldiers were propped up so that the Arabs outside would think there were still many soldiers alive inside the fort.
