    We had that last night in northern VA. It was raining at 3pm, by 8pm in Loudoun Co we had 9 inches of wet, heavy snow.

    The big “blump” I heard was more of a “skertch” when our Japanese cherry tree split in half. Makes me worry about its sister trees around the Tidal Basin in DC.
