Sigh… I have an English degree - and was always correcting the kids. Until my son purposely began to speak “ghetto”. I knew the game he was playing but he also knew how hard it was NOT to correct him. I lasted about 2-3 minutes - then would correct him as I was walking away. He’d just laugh.
