The “one-and-dones” can (if they wish) actually go to class in the first semester, and be eligible for the entire season, even if they never set foot in a classroom in the second semester. I’m waiting for a “one-and-done” to NOT get drafted by an NBA team…
The filthy greed of major college football really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. How they can look us in the eye and say the bowl system is better for schools and fans is a crock?
it’s filthy lucre. And the example they set as institutions of higher learning to our children should not be understated.
Priorities, priorities, priorities. A Med School professor might make 100 grand, while the head coach and AD make millions. But the Med School only brings in tuition, while athletics bring in ticket sales and booster money. And which product is better for society as a whole?
