Were you this upset with the false claims against the Central Park Five? How about Oscar Grant? How about the false allegations of Leiha Ann-Sue Artman, Susan Smith and Jesse Anderson? It is far and away more likely that a black person will be jailed or killed due to false allegations than anyone else in our society. How about a cartoon about the real problem in our society about false allegations and not this mole hill Mike? Why don’t you start with Emmett Till and move into the present day for research.
with the numerous times whites have falsely accused black people of crimes to further the negative perception of them… I can sympathize with Mlester and the right on this one. All the what about-isms aside… this is a travesty. It would be one thing if some new evidence was found, but sounds like he just knew the right people and had enough money. Which is fine in some areas… but not when it comes to the law. Of course they won’t keep that same energy when the shoe’s on the other foot… never have never will… but that is just their nature.
Once again, @mlester101 displays a splendid ignorance of basic history and government. Local authorities didn’t dare to touch Capone. As the page you link to, but apparently didn’t bother to read, makes clear, Capone was taken down by federal law enforcement, not local authorities in Chicago or Illinois.

Trump did even better: He got away without even coming to the indictment stage. He is the true master of getting away with misdeeds.

According to FBI.gov he was indicted on four counts. No need to apologize.https://archives.fbi.gov/archives/news/stories/2005/march/capone_032805
