TBI is not as fatal as it was, even in ‘Nam, guys I bagged would “survive” today– but to what quality of life? Amputees are getting very good prosthesis from the military, but when they wear out or break, the VA can’t get the same thing for them. (at $200,000 a pop!) My son only has nerve damage/crushed foot and a foot that would probably have been better off replaced by a prosthetic, and the military is still dumping on him.(after 13 years service) Sorry, but as a permanent and total disabled ‘Nam vet, having my son facing the same thing, “irks” me?? Especially when “righties” now call this “Obama’s wars”.

Bring the troops home. Pay them a regular salary. Save all of the money spent on Hummers, tankers to run them, helicopters, tanks, expensive meals ready to eat, etc. Think of the billions if Haliburton was unemployed!

War has become a big business….too many people depend on it. Just wait and see…..there will always be something around the corner. Go read Plato…..
