By the way, I left a few very late comments on yesterday’s strip. I was cooking most of the day and out for a few hours, too. I ended up with a homemade tourtière (meat pie), which is traditional at Christmastime for many Quebec families. I used a shortcut method that only took about 7 hours from start to finish.

Someone we’ve never seen is brought to light……Hugh Envalue is one the oddest names I’ve seen on this strip.

Of course, it would be odd for the solution to a whodunit to be the person who seems most likely.

So could Hugh Envalue be their man?

Dick’s thinking “Pfft. Only ONE criminal bent on revenge? Amateur!”

You examine the most likely and search for clues and widen it unless you work a precinct that just takes the most likely culprit and make up evidence and convict them. Clean blotter, but the real criminal may have escaped. DT is not that kind of police man.
