A favorite moment on a Marx Brothers movie – the ambassador receives a telegram. Harpo grabs it, looks it over, huffs up angrily and tears it up. Chico explains “He gets mad ‘cause he can’t read.”
I get the sad humor…. I will always remember Harpo’s mimic of Lucy in The Lucy Show. Among, the many episodes that caused me to spew out whatever I was drinking at the moment.
This strip was originally printed on December 31, 1955 I been using Peanuts, then changed the date to view the classics. They are black and white not colorized.
I complained to GC using the “Contact Us” link below. Their response gave no indication that they intended to bring back any of the “classics” that they’ve discontinued. Instead, they just told me to look at the archived strips. (I’m sorry, but that’s not the same thing at all.)
For those wondering what is going on, you can now forward to the 7th and 8th and the 7th is the very first Peanuts strip so they start the Peanuts Begin back at the beginning again.

Are all the classic reprints slowly going away? Several have ceased updating in the past few weeks and 9Chickweed is … gone.

Linus says “I can’t read” and then we stop getting new strips.

This is interesting. Has ‘Peanuts Begins’ reached the point where it transitioned to ‘Peanuts’?
