I am reminded of an episode if Gilligan’s Island where an election was held for President. Everyone voted for their self for President so no one won. Everyone voted for Gilligan for Vice-president so they could boss him around.

Thank you for this! It’s so important that everyone vote. I’m not sure I agree with what Australia does, making it mandatory that all vote; but at least they get people to the polls! What an honor it is, really, to be able to vote! What a privilege!

I’ve always loved the folks that say it’s your duty to vote. If you don’t vote you can’t complain about the outcome. It’s like there’s a thug on the left threatening to break your arms and a thug on the right threatening to break your legs and you get to vote for one of them. The real vote is to not play the game.

While MY Candidate might not win, we can hope the system might continue until we can get candidates that are worthy of our Representation.

Us it a victory if you become rich but still do not know how to spell or behave with honor?
