Judging by the repetitive nature of his choice of activity in the past and current single-mindedness, it would seem Petey has his whole future mapped out. He’s gonna need some source of income tho’.

Is she going to use the portable classroom to transport horses or trampolines?

That fool! Clowns don’t need to read! You think Emmet Kelly yearned for an understanding of the post-Napoleonic social mores so deftly described by Balzac? Well, sure he did, but he had elephants to milk and tents to erect!

She’s gonna live in it. Teachers don’t make that much.

I wonder if anyone was inside the classroom when she drove away…

I don’t know about the literacy rate among clowns. But the better ones make more money than teachers (except in a few cities, like Chicago, where they get raises whenever their union demands them).

Reading comic books, when one is young, helps improve literacy and is food for the soul. Reading comics here and now when I am old resembles a chore much of the time; but Richard always cheers me up….

You notice that there aren’t hundreds of kids roaming the hallways. Only ONE kid not smart enough to find his classroom. What does that say about our Petey?
