I heard they will launch a new “wikileaks” soon, called openleaks.org

This will probably turn out like file sharing; they closed Napster, along came Kazaa. The closed Kazaa, then came Limewire. Now, we can share movies through torrents.

When people have a taste of something, it is hard to take it back. Technology never goes backwards.

WarFool… mighty subjective of you… so NONE of the left wing web news/blog/opinion sources contain “Faux News?” By taking such a stance you have negated any possibility of yourself having a valid, objective, reasonable opinion worth even the minuteness of value.

All you have done, WarFool, is give credibility to the very sources you deride. It’s like Keith Olberman’s ‘worst person’ award. They became badges of honor and a symbol for truth and respect to those who received them merely because of Olberman’s own hypocrisy and lack of honesty and character.

The reality is there are sources on each side that are great, good and poor (if not worse). The trick is judging each fairly and objectively to obtain an impartial, tangible conclusion. Clearly you have not done that.

^Let’s see…Supply side economics, deregulation, and tax cuts for the uber wealthy. That’s what those websites advocate. That’s what’s been tried for thirty plus years. By those standards we should have the budget balanced, all of the middle class should be living good, and the economy should be stellar.

Instead, as life has shown us, we’re in debt, the middle class is more and more impoverished, and the economy is in the tank. Tell me again how those principles are gonna help our country’s citizens. As I learn more about the world of business through my studies I find that the playing field is more favorable to those who want to keep their money and power, i.e. the uber rich.

There’s two types of information that I distinguish: relevant information and rhetoric. What is being taught in universities is relevant because it is used in real life. What the media (pick your side I don’t care) reports on that gets people riled up (muslim talk, birth certificate, gays) and stuff that doesn’t make sense is rhetoric.

So before you go accusing people of bad credibility because they bad mouth your favorite website come up with better reasons to prove that person wrong. Comparing television shows is irrelevant because my argument was not about shows. It was about misinformation on the websites I named. Not once on this thread did I mention Fox news. Dr.Canuck did.

In short, you have negated any possibility of yourself having a valid, objective, reasonable opinion worth even the minuteness of value by talking about something other than what is being discussed.

    Have a nice day!
